1st Degree Black Belt Requirements
Requirements
- At least four years of study unless it is proven otherwise that you know and can show the material at an exceptional level.
- At least 60 hours of in-school cleaning.
- Attendance at least one tournament.
- All payments must be up-to-date.
- Helped instruct for at least 60 hours.
- Must create your own form for your test. If the form is well-liked, it will be added to our curriculum.
- Must be able to perform all techniques with both left and right sides.
- After the black belt test, you must wait one week to know if you passed.
Instant Failure
- First form (Shino) performed incorrectly.
- Front kick, side kick, back kick or hook kick with toes down.
- Punch with thumbs out to the side.
- Incorrect weight distributions or shoulder widths with any stance.
- Straight knees in any stance.
- Giving up on any part of the test.
Physical Test
- Jog for at least 10 minutes non-stop.
- 100 pushups without giving up.
- 200 leg lifts without giving up.
- 200 black belt crunches without giving up.
- Hold a 10-minute plank without giving up.
- Perform mountain climbers for 15 minutes without giving up.
